The PageBid Request for Proposal (RFP) Process

HOW IT WORKS
Our central feature is an online procurement tool that allows a purchaser to post a RFP and then enables multiple providers to submit quotes on it. Use of this tool is fast, simple and free.

STEP 1
The purchaser submits the RFP criteria, either through PageBid's menu-driven Posting feature or via email, and may request assistance from PageBid in setting guidelines for quotes, estimating costs, running through a RFP checklist and in setting a deadline for final submissions. The purchaser may choose to identify his/her firm to providers or post anonymously.

STEP 2
The RFP goes out to either all qualified providers or to a select few who will respond with quotes or ask clarifying questions and receive responses through an automated Q&A process. Providers may submit an unlimited number of quotes and upload documents while the bidding is open.

STEP 3
The deadline for quotes ends, and PageBid assists with follow up Q&As, reference checking, and provider evaluation. The final product to the purchaser is a report that analyzes the proposals, allowing the purchaser to make a more informed decision. (Report requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to view.) After a selection is made the award is announced to all participants, who are also able to view the highest and lowest anonymous quotes.

What users are saying:

"The amount of time we've spent managing the RFP process has decreased dramatically, while the quality of proposals has gone up!"

-Kathleen G., Administrative Officer, San Francisco, CA

"As a litigation support provider we've worked with PageBid both when bidding on projects, and putting out RFPs for subcontract work. In both respects they've saved us and our clients money, and, more importantly, time. PageBid is now part of our standard business process."

-Karen P., Business Development Manager, Houston, TX

"PageBid helps us define what we really need, estimate the cost, and get management buy-in before we go to market. They've really made our lives easier."

-Karen S., Paralegal Manager, San Francisco, CA
