The
Main Feature
You've submitted your proposal or RFP to PageBid. Now what?
by Tim
Myles, PageBid CEO
Since our start last year, many PageBid users, purchasers and providers alike, have asked me a host of questions about what happens after an RFP is posted or a proposal is submitted. How are providers identified? How is the RFP distributed, and what is the submission process for proposals? What does the purchaser see when it's all over? Does the lowest quote always get awarded the project? In this article I'll address these and other questions by explaining the PageBid process, and describing what you can do to get the best return from your time and effort. I'll also provide some important guidelines for submitting a proposal to prospective clients on PageBid or elsewhere...

think).

What's
New at PageBid
Provider Forum. Ever needed suggestions on how to handle difficult bill collections? Wondered about how other providers are protecting their talent from poaching clients? Wanted the opportunity to exchange thoughts and ideas with your peers worldwide? Well, you can see where we're going with this: It's the PageBid Provider Forum, a members-only, online discussion group created exclusively for document technologies and litigation support providers.
And we mean it when we say exclusively for providers. Purchasers need not apply. Providers will finally have a place for a free and frank discussion on the issues that concern them without having to worry about what potential customers might read. No, we haven't repealed the libel laws, and this will be a moderated forum, but here at last is your chance to communicate directly with your peers around the world. The forum is open only to the hundreds of providers who have confirmed registrations with PageBid (as always, registration is free).
So please go ahead, start the conversation and join the forum.
Three Quotes in Three Hours. PageBid introduces the Three Hour Quote, for those times (and we know there are many) when you need to gather a few quick quotes and get a project started. To take advantage of this expedited service, call us directly at 415.355.0281 or send an email to quotes@pagebid.com. Or simply post your RFP as usual, and note in the comment field that you want a "three hour quote." Upon receipt we will bypass our normal RFP distribution process and our reps will immediately call providers for you. Our commitment to you is to deliver at least three quotes within three hours of your posting (M-F, 9-5 PST). Now just because your time is limited your options don't have to be!
