The
Ball Park Calculator
About
Ball Park. The Ball Park Estimate is designed to
provide a rough idea of what a project might cost before
submitting a RFP. The Ball Park Estimate is just that
-- it's an estimate, not a quote. The data used to calculate
an estimate is drawn from industry standards and averages
from recent proposals. A purchaser can use the Ball
Park Estimate to craft a better RFP, and get a
sense of what providers will offer in their quotes.
How it works. To get a Ball Park estimate, select
the service or services for which you want an estimate
from the pull-down menu. Add the item by clicking on
the "Add Item" button. Enter your estimated number of
units (pages, documents) and click "calculate" to get
your estimate. You may add as many services as you wish,
and can revise your estimate at any time. After adjusting
your numbers, simply click on "calculate." Remove any
selected item by clicking "Remove" in the item description
box. Or you can start from scratch and clear the entire
entry by clicking the "Clear Estimate" button.
