Frequently
Asked Questions for Purchasers
Am
I obligated to commit to any of the providers that
submit a quote for my RFP?
No,
there is never an obligation to proceed for either
the purchaser or provider. Our goal is to find the
best match so you will want to proceed, but that choice
is yours alone.
Should
I post RFPs anonymously?
That's
up to you. RFPs are posted anonymously by default
so that the provider is not bombarded with duplicative
questions or unsolicited calls. However, the interaction
between a provider and purchaser is very important
so PageBid facilitates an on-line Q&A process whereby
purchasers can respond to questions immediately without
revealing their identity. Purchasers are also encouraged
to opt to post their identity if they want to handle
questions directly on the phone or via email. The
choice is yours.
What
if I already know what providers I want to bid on
my RFP? Can PageBid still help?
Yes!
In fact, finding the providers is just a small part
of what we do. Most of the value to you comes in the
form of automated RFP distribution, consolidated Q&A,
open bidding, proposal comparison and analysis, and
provider evaluation. Helping you compare your options
and save valuable time is what we're all about.
What
kind of RFPs will you assist with?
PageBid
is committed to helping business build relationships
in the document technologies market, and that's where
we focus our efforts. Document technologies include
all products and services that are applied to information
in document form. This covers a lot of ground, but
if you have something that you're not sure fits, run
it by us in an email. If we can't help you we'll do
our best to get you to someone who can.
What
does it cost for me to use PageBid?
$0,
nothing, nada. There are absolutely no charges to
post or respond to an RFP, or for any of PageBid's
useful tools for that matter. PageBid earns its fees
from a small commission applied to providers who are
awarded projects.
